Radiographic measurement tool
Measurement on DICOM.In the browser.Never transferred, never stored.
HumanMetrica measures angles, axes and lengths on radiographs, with explicit calibration in true millimetres. The file is decoded inside your browser: it is never transferred to a server and never stored anywhere.
Privacy
The image is never transferred or stored.
The DICOM file is decoded inside the browser tab. It is not uploaded, not saved and not transmitted. Your account holds only your preferences — never images, never patient data.
Open developer tools, go to the Network tab, and load a radiograph. You will see no request carrying image data.
Beta
Free for as long as the beta runs.
HumanMetrica is in open beta and free to use — no card, no cap on measurements. If a paid plan is introduced later, we will say so well in advance, and nobody loses access to what they already have.
Precision
True millimetres, not pixels.
Calibration is read from the DICOM pixel spacing, or set by hand against a known reference. Without calibration, distances are marked as uncalibrated rather than presented as though they were millimetres.

Questions
What people ask.
What does it cost?
Nothing while the beta runs. Free to use, no card, no cap on measurements. If a paid plan is introduced later, we will say so well in advance, and nobody loses access to what they already have.
Where are the radiographs stored?
Nowhere. The file is opened and processed inside your browser. There is no copy on our servers because it is never transferred. Your account holds your email address and your measurement preferences.
Is this a medical device?
No. HumanMetrica is not a medical device and provides no diagnostic advice. It is a measurement tool: the clinician places the points, verifies the calibration, and is responsible for every value before acting on it.
Which files does it accept?
DICOM radiographs (.dcm). The common transfer syntaxes are supported, including RLE and baseline JPEG compression. If a file is not supported, the application says so explicitly rather than displaying an incorrect image.
Do the reference ranges say whether a value is normal?
No. Literature ranges are shown as context, never as a verdict. The application does not classify a value as normal or abnormal.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in any modern browser, on your own computer, with no installation and no administrator rights.
